On the way home from work, as the train of the metro had got out of its tunnel, I looked towards the Sun as part of the everyday routine. When I caught sight of the beautiful wavy Kelvin-Helmholtz cloud, I jumped up from my seat and rushed to the window to take some photos. Unfortunatelly, however, the trees of the area always got in the way when I pressed the button and no picture came out right. And as KH clouds are really short-lived, I had no more chance after I got off. I called Alex to ask her whether she had photographed anything interesting in the previous minute. Well, I was not disappointed in her at all. :) She had seen exactly what I had, and even made an animation of the clouds. So the artist behind the photo is her, the picture has been attached with Alex's permission. More on her blog.
