






The "show" began early in the morning with a right-side parhelion, then at around 1 p.m. (CEST), the circumscribed halo with its bright upper tangent arc appeared, and an almost complete parhelic circle. Alex's photo shows the 120° parhelion really well. Later on the Cs clouds became too thick, but the parhelia and shorter parhelic arcs appeared again and again late in the afternoon, too.
